Information we collect on customers and candidates
By collecting information, we can improve our services for all users - from basic things like looking at how you apply for a vacant position or how you handle a recruitment.
We collect information as follows:
- Information that you state when you apply for a vacant job. Then we ask you for personal information such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, CV and more.
- Information we receive when using our services. We collect on what services you use and how you use them, such as how you manage a recruitment.
We collect information about the specific device used (such as hardware model, operating system version, unique device ID and mobile network information, including phone numbers).
Log information for recruiters
When you use our services or display content provided by Roi Rekrytering, some information is collected and automatically stored in server logs. Log data contains the following:
- Information on how you used our service, such as how you look at candidates.
- Cookies that can identify your browser.
- Cookies and similar technology.
We use different techniques to collect and save information when you use any of Roi Rekrytering services or visit our website. This may mean that cookies or similar techniques are used to identify your browser or device. We also use these techniques to collect and store information when interacting with services.
How the information we collect is used for customers and candidates
The information we collect from our services is used to provide, maintain, protect and improve the services, to develop new services and to protect Roi Rekrytering and our users. Roi Rekrytering handles personal data on servers located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. These servers are provided by DigitalOcean, LLC.

Different users have different views on privacy. We want to be transparent about what information we collect, so that you can make informed decisions about how it can be used. When you as a customer want to access and update personal information
We wish for you, as a customer with us and users of our recruitment tool, to be able to access your information when you use our services. If the information is inaccurate, we would like to allow you to easily update or delete them - provided that the information is not stored due to valid business purposes or for legal reasons. When you update your information, we may require you to confirm your identity before performing the action.
We can deny a request if it is repeated an unreasonable number of times, requires disproportionate technical work (for example, the development of a new system or radical changes to existing practices), the risk of others' integrity or if it is very impractical (for example, a request for information available in our backup systems).
When we can give access to data and correction, we do it without charge, except in cases where it requires disproportionate work. We aim to keep our services in such a condition that information is not destroyed, by accidentally or through harmful processes. When you delete information in our services, it may take up to 72 hours before copies of the deleted information disappear from our active servers. The information can also remain in our backup systems for up to 72 hours, after which all information will be erased and the possibility of recovery will unfortunately be impossible.
Information that we share linked to customers and candidates
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations or people outside the Roi Rekrytering Network (customers, suppliers and partners) except in the following situations:

However, we can share personal data with companies / clients connected to ongoing recruitment processes.
Information security for customers
We work hard to protect Roi Rekrytering and our users from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of information. Specific security measures:
- We encrypt many of our services with SSL
- You log in to your account with two-step verification.
- We review our procedures for collecting, storing and processing data, including physical security measures, in order to protect against unauthorized access to our systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to Roi Rekrytering employees, and suppliers who need the information to be able to process them on behalf of us. They are bound by strict confidentiality by contract (personal data agreement).
Explanation of Terms
A cookie is a small file that contains a character string. It is sent to your computer when you visit a website. Using the cookie, the site will recognize your browser again when you visit the site again. User settings and other information can be stored in cookies. A pixel tag is a type of technology that is placed on a website or in the text of an e-mail message in order to record what is happening on a website or when e-mail is opened or retrieved. Pixel tags are often used in combination with cookies.
Information that you send to us that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, billing information, or other information.
The HTTP referrer is information that the browser sends to a web page to be opened, typically when you click on a link to that web page. The HTTP referrer is the URL of the latest web page that the browser visited.
Like most websites, our servers automatically record requests made when you visit our sites. These "server logs" usually include your inquiry, IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of your request and one or more cookies that can identify your browser.
Roi Rekrytering Selection Policy
Personal data is only preserved if there is a need to preserve them to fulfil the purposes for which the data were collected. Thus, the data in a recruitment process is wiped out when the employment procedure has been completed, within 12 months. However, the information may need to be saved for other purposes, for example, where a candidate appeals the decision that the candidate did not get the job.
If we want to use the data longer, for example for future recruitment, Roi Rekrytering will ensure that job seekers are informed and agree to continued registration via e-mail.
Personal data linked to customers and suppliers are saved only if these are relevant for the day-to-day relationship and for marketing and information purposes.
