Key Account Manager

What does a Key Account Manager do at Univar Solutions?

Your responsibility is to develop and expand a portfolio of 30 pre-existing customers located mostly in the south of Sweden. You will be identifying new needs or focus on increased volumes. Your mission is to strengthen the relationship, so they always choose Univar Solutions as their primary source of chemicals.

Aside from that, you will find new opportunities and bring in new business further diverse your portfolio and increase the customer base.

You work independently and with a business growth strategy, setting your own action plan with goals and objectives. Work can be done from our office in Malmö or your home office. You will also spend time meeting customers either via Teams, or onsite. This will lead to some degree of travelling. However, the planning around it is up to you.

Who might you be?

We think that you have experience from working in at least a couple of sales roles. Although chemicals may sound complicated and hard, the focus of this position (competence wise) is on the development of the business and relationships.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to be goal-oriented, bring a lot of power of initiative, and have the ability to gain the trust of the people you communicate with. You have a strong track record within B2B sales and are motivated by working with multiple stakeholders across different industries.

What else? Since communication is key to this position, full professional proficiency in Swedish is a requirement, as well as confidence in English (written and spoken).

What does the team look like?

In the business unit you will find a team of 12 people based in Malmö, Gothenburg, and Oslo. 8 of them are in the sales team. At the office in Malmö, you find the Nordic headquarter with 80 colleagues in different business units and teams. We have a wide variety of backgrounds and span all generations of the current job market.
